If you are not aware that there is another game called Way Of The Hunter and it's almost as much the same as the other famous hunting game. If you are into hunting then this is a great game to get your hands into. Cheap on steam but you may want to get all of the DLCS I have added it to my wishlist and you can pre-order it today and get the packs before it expires and goes to full price.

A game certainly not meant for everyone but for the folks who like survival games; it's a must own. For people who have a CPU strong enough to handle this game on full visual; you won't be disappointed! The atmosphere and lighting effects are amazing! The crafting system is good but not great; I wish with the updates they would add more things to craft. My main gripe is the fact that there really isn't much of a back story to drive you through the game. Whether or not this will come once the game is officially launched; I suppose we all wait and see. That last phrase has seemed to be on repeat for me with this game..."we'll wait and see".. there are alot of elements to this game that could be added to..but...we'll wait and see. The Forest has been in "development" for a long time now. One thing that worries me is the fact that this game was picked up by consoles. Once that happened it seemed as though the devs stopped adding content to the PC version. Because of the solitude this game exudes; I would strongly recommend playing online with a friend! Connectivity has always been strong with minimal to no lag or frame rate issues. The story is very complex (but incomplete in MP ), is like a puzzle to build the story. [Story: 9.1/10] For an Indie Game, have a great and realistic graphics (Have also options for optimization, if you have a bad computer you can still play it!). [Graphics: 9.3/10] Artificial Intelligence (AI) are pretty good. [AI: 8.0] Map with a good size, resources are well distributed on map, complex cave system with lots of thing to explore, abandoned campsites, etc. [Map and Resources: 9.8/10] Good crafting and building system. [Crafting: 8.5/10] Good gameplay. Hunger, health, thirst and stamida works well and are a little complex (like, you need to know which plants are edible or which plants are medicinal, soda makes the health of the character bad...) [Gameplay: 8.9/10] Multiplayer // Co-op - such as more fun since you are playing with others . [MP/CO: 10/10] Enemies - Have a good variation: Animals (sharks, crocodiles, boar...), cannibals (There are different tribes and different types) and mutants (Armsy, Virginia, Cowman, Babies and BOSS). [Enemies: 9.6/10] "Chooses" - In the game you have several choices you can make. (Examples: You can play without enemies, you can survive without following the story, can select the difficulty...) [Variety: 9.9/10] Good to spend hours playing! (Infinite gameplay time) [Gameplay time: 8.7/10] (There are more good things, but you can find them playing the game! Buy it, 100% recommended!)

This game has been in development for very long time. Funny that it's been on my wishlist for two years and they are finally have a release date. This is one of those games that I will get, no matter how much it's going to cost. Hopefully it's not going to cost to much. Anyone else looking forward to this game on the 17th of november 2020.

Source: http://blog.scssoft.com/2016/08/american-truck-simulator-rescale.html Since announcing the ATS map rescale project, we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback. It was a confirmation that rescaling the map was the right decision - thank you for your encouragement! We would like to share a couple of screenshots showcasing some locations in the game world that we are improving. Enjoy! A unique truck stop at one of the new road segments in Arizona Donner Pass - a road which winds through steep mountains. We're trying to represent correct height profiles wherever possible. A big part of I-80 between Sacramento and Oakland was missing. We added it along with its unique junctions including the overpass that crosses I-580. US-60 near Show Low - displaying a new type of landscape and environment profile.

American Truck Simulator Release Date At last, we are ready to commit to an official release date of the first edition of American Truck Simulator; the game will hit digital and retail stores on February 3, 2016. As the readers of our blog will no doubt know by now, this release will be just the first step on the road. A couple of trucks and the state of California that we are bringing you with the base game release is only a fraction of our grand vision - to cover all of North America eventually and to chase every relevant truck manufacturer for a license to allow us to include their trucks into the game. Well, we have to set on the way, and this is where we start. Hold on tight! Source: http://blog.scssoft.com/2015/12/american-truck-simulator-release-date.html
