I haven't had need to yet as my forum is a free Proboards but what I would do is ask around on forums. Sometimes you may find somebody who is willing to help you out. Maybe they are trying their hand & want the practice. Or they just need the publicity & references. When I've had help with my forum, I didn't have to pay anything, it was known I'd be more active on their forum & that was the payment. There are many ways to "pay" for a service without an out of pocket expense. Even if it's maybe bartering. They create a theme for you, while you create something for them.

I've paid for the odd graphic work but I try to do most of it myself. It's taken me a very long time to learn how to do graphic work but it is rewarding in the end because of the type of things I can do on Canva. I've done some wallpapers and banners and stuff like that.

I have in the past had a logo made and emotes made for my content creation and live streams and I always ensure that I pay the person who created these for me. I am a firm believer that you should always pay creators, especially those who help you out with things such as logos and even emotes.
