I prefer to type because I can do this so much faster. Do you like your handwriting? Do you find you type better? Anyway, I do little handwriting except to fill out forms for things - like housing or job applications. However, these days a lot of job applications are online. Note: when I was in elementary school (in the 1980s) I learned cursive. I don't know if students learn that now. Anyway, I never use cursive except for signatures.
