There is absolutely no harm in trying to promote your content as much as you can. I think that you have to target areas where you are likely to find people that will be interested in your content. Maybe join game-specific forums for games that you regularly stream or post on YouTube about. You can also promote on social media through hashtags or on your timeline, as your friends and family could be interested in supporting you.

Each time I upload a video onto YouTube, I ensure a thumbnail has been added as well all the relevant tags to help with SEO.  In addition, I use social media platforms like Facebook, to get my channel "out there". Promoting content on YouTube is one of the biggest challenges any content creator will face.

I'm actually working with an old army buddy to create a new streaming service that's built around helping to promote smaller streamers. As for how I go about promoting myself I go on sites, discords, forums, etc. that are built around the content I post/stream and stay active there. Then I occasionally post a link or two in the correct sections asking people to come on over and it works most of the time :)

It's called Casttyr. It's a play on Cast, and Tyr which is a Norse got of justice essentially. Our goal for it is to have a just ruling system that doesn't ban based off of bias and actual goes off of our ToS. There's a lot that will be going into it, however it all costs a lot so in order to get it to a stable point we have a kickstarter and won't open it up until there's at least 100 people following it so it may take a little as I haven't started marketing it fully.

Nice ;)

Well, I'm a streamer myself on twitch and if you need people then hell just PM me and I get right into it. I know others also that can also join to help to kickstart. Keep in minde that we still be aiming on twitch unless your site supports multistreaming? Seems that site is not even up and running. early stages it seems very early still.

Very early indeed. We're going to run a kickstarter to try and speed the whole process up. As for allowing multistreaming we won't have restrictions like other sites unless you use our Music system we will have built into the website.  You can use any and all music, artists upload to the site commercial free but only on the site so that'd be the only acceptation. I'll DM you the KS link if you'd like :)

I'm not a streamer but I think a lot of people tend to post to YouTube first to get discovered in the hopes people migrate to Twitch to catch a live stream. That's how I personally find most of the streamers I watch.

It's not always easy to push your content out to people to help with your live streams but I find that if you push out any content you have from long form videos to short form videos on places like YouTube and TikTok along with links to where you stream that can always help. Also networking both with other streamers and also on social media with other streamers also really does help as well. It's a slow process but the more work you put into it the more you will see results and those results are always amazing when they hit!
